POSITION:
This
Product Manager
is one of four PM's reporting to the Director of Product Management and is a replacement for an individual that needed to relocate for personal reasons.

A ground floor opportunity to be the Product Manager for a new product offering from an internationally recognized name in material handling equipment.
SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive industry niche marketing and sales assessment including size, trends, forecasts, etc.
Provides marketing, sales strategies, tools and implementation
Responds to field and dealer inquiries on product related issues, including pricing, specifications, applications, market trends, availability, competition, and competitive countermeasures.
Coordinates cross-functional focus teams to implement Product Launch through dealer meetings.
Delivers continuous feedback to the Program Manager to ensure alignment of product development with Business Plan objectives for the program.
Development of sales training materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST - Personality is as important as raw professional experience credentials. We need an intelligent, energetic person with exceptional communication skills and a can-do attitude.
MUST - Possess at least once significant quantifiable accomplishment within the last three years related to Product Management or Marketing (not a direct sales function).
MUST - Minimum of 5 years of recent related Product Management experience (not only sales) for industrially manufactured machinery/equipment - such as mobile material handling, mobile heavy equipment or
automotive
, etc.
MUST - Possess practical knowledge of financial accounting and analysis for business plan development.
PREFERRED - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales or Business. Other degrees considered coupled with well-suited core experience.
A PLUS - Experience marketing product targeting Big Box Store markets.
