Job Description
Quality Manager high volume machining and assembly operation.
Quality Manager Confidential
Direct and oversee the quality functions of the organization as it pertains to manufacturing and assembly operations within the facility. Oversee critical quality processes assuring that product meets the intent of the specifications related to the product manufacturing requirements. Manage and plan for new products, new parts, cost reduction, projects, resourcing, engineering changes and ISO systems.
Green Belt or Black Belt exp ideal in Quality
1. Manage departmental budgets.
2. Staff, train and develop subordinate personnel.
3. Manage the ISO system.
4. Assist external plants in their quality systems.
5. Support / Lead the organizations in lean manufacturing activities.
6. Manage the PPAP process for internal and external processes.
7. Initiate and / or oversee quality analysis and investigations in conjunction with Operations concerning internal and external problem areas.
8. Conducts Quality Assurance personnel annual reviews
9.Works with customer's / supplier quality on 8D's issued
10. Reviews and Approves all requested PO's for facility quality needs.
11. Initiates Continuous improvement projects, including driving Op Cert Process
12. Responsible for new system implementations within the Quality arena.
13. Assists Q.E's with facility issues
14. Conducts monthly meetings with the Quality staff
16. Coordinates new projects with other departmental supervisors.
17. Implements new inspection technologies.
18. Acts as a control point within the facility for quality issues.
Requires BS Degree, Prefer Engineering Degree
