Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Welding or Mechanical). will consider candidates with 2 yr degrees
Spot welding knowledge.
Computer proficiency (Microsoft office software , ACAD) needed.
Welding engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with Fanuc and Panasonic robotic welding
cells preferred. AWS and thorough understanding of AWS certification desired.
Ability to develop welding programs, assist in reviewing and approving vendor welding programs, resolution of joint design, weld sizing, and ease of welding issues, personnel and equipment training, investigation of weld failures and implementation of corrective action.
