This non-union automotive tier 1 supplier which is a leader in their field (approximately 260 million in sales) is seeking a GM of Human Resources to manage a department of about 7-8 people and to be over 5 plants. Responsibilities are as follows:
Monitoring the compensation policies, guidelines and procedures.
Monitoring performance appraisal system for both hourly and salaried personnel.
Developing, recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures.
Work with the Executive Management to define HR goals and objectives in strategic and tactical management planning for the entire organization.
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practice and developments and applicable laws regarding human resources.
Manage the budget and other financial measures of the HR department
Respond to EE relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints. as well as related litigation such as EEOC, ORCR and /or NLRB complaints.
Investigate ne benefit programs, improve existing programs, supervise and monitor benefit administration.
Negotiate with benefit vendors for renewal.
Responsible for advising management to ensure company compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training .
Bachelor degree in HR
Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience
