Summary of the Hardware Design Engineer - Medical:
Hardware Design Engineer is needed to play a vital role in the development of the advanced medical devices. Our this client is a global player continually developing new and exciting technologies. Due to an increased demand in this field they need a solid Hardware Engineer to work in a 10  person group of engineers building control systems for advanced electromechanical medical devices. As part of this growing organization you will work with their R&D team designing the hardware for the embedded system. Starting with the architecture you will create the schematic capture and direct the PCB design and taking it thru the full life cycle. This is an opportunity to grow your career with an innovative company and if you have strong experience in design and development of mixed signal hardware operating in real time then this position is well suited to you.  You will also be very hands on with the products you develop so if you love "doing it all" this role is for you.


Job Responsibilities of the Hardware Design Engineer - Medical:
You will be designing, developing, and refining mixed signal hardware components and sub-systems while collaborating with internal teams to drive the final product to a successful deployment. 
 

Qualifications of the Hardware Design Engineer - Medical:
  • BSEE or similar degree (Masters preferred)
  • Internship or up to 5 years Experience is a MUST 
  • Expertise in analog and digital circuit is a MUST
  • RF or other wireless background is a PLUS
  • Conversant in electrical CAD packages such as: OrCAD, Altium, PADS.
  • Schematic capture software is a MUST have
  • Circuit simulation such as PSpice is DESIRABLE
  • Hands-on:  soldering, oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, etc. is a MUST
  • Motor controls and communication protocols a big PLUS
  • NO OPT CANDIDATES
Compensation of the Hardware Design Engineer - Medical:
Salary Range:  $55 to 90K,  depending on experience

Location: Stevensville, MI
Type:  Direct
Travel:  As required (Up to 10%)
Relocation Assistance:  Yes
Visa Sponsorship:  H1B transfers only.  NO OPT/F1 will be considered
