Global mfg. is expanding and looking for a Logistics Planner. The Planner's primary role is to meet customer's on-time delivery requirements. Will provide daily operational support and leadership for on and off-site receiving and outbound logistics programs, to support JIT/JIT delivery. Will be key interface for logistics daily operational KPI's for tracking and reporting. Define and implement benchmark level logistics systems, procedures, job standardization and training. Monitor customer systems and provide updates at specified intervals. Monitor cost development and assure compliance with budgets and overhead and implement corrective actions as needed.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment in Supply Chain Management; Scheduling, Purchasing. Automotive background required.
