Our client, which is a leading dealer of Commercial Vehicle equipment, has retained us to fill several Sales Representative positions due to significant market growth. These positions will be based in certain key counties in Northern Illinois. The outside Sales Rep will provide sales and support for the company's products; moreover, the Sales Rep will sell Off-Highway Commercial Vehicle equipment carried by the dealership. The position will develop new business while maintaining and growing current customer accounts.

  • Maintain and grow sales in your assigned territory in Northern Illinois while meeting or exceeding the personal sales goals set by the company.
  • Create sales opportunities while maintaining and growing current company accounts.
  • Setting regional marketing plans to penetrate your assigned territory.
  • Must be willing to take occasional sales calls after hours.
  • Must be willing to call on customers out in the field.
  • Adept at organizing and executing sales files, warranties, product rebates, and financial documentation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have 3+ years of outside sales experience in the off-highway commercial vehicle equipment industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Handles incoming sales calls and face-to-face customer interactions through product quotations and sales call procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and has the ability to learn additional company software.
  • Must be well organized, proficient in time management, and work well with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Must be willing to travel within their assigned territory on a daily basis and be able to travel overnight as needed. 
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
