We are searching for a new Plant Manager for the assembly operation of 250 employees in the north Dayton, OH area.  Any experience in
welding would also be helpful, but not required.  This multi-site company has been expanding for many years, is family-friendly, with very
in-demand products.  Our current Plant Manager will be retiring after 30 years of service.

Plant Manager – Gettysburg , OH (north Dayton, OH area) - Assembly Operations - Excellent Benefits - Relocation Paid 
The Plant Manager will provide functional leadership to the manufacturing operations.  As the leader of the 250 person operation, the Plant Manager occupies an integral position on the Operations Leadership Team and is accountable for meeting all established goals, metrics and standards, and for assuring compliance in all areas of the operation. 

Responsibilities of the Plant Manager - Assembly Operations: 
  • Plans & directs production operations, facilities, manufacturing engineering, equipment maintenance & site safety and is responsible for environmental program compliance
  • Works cross-functionally to establish production and QC standards, manufacturing objectives & on-time delivery requirements
  • Coordinates production activities with Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance and Quality to optimize operational performance
  • Champions Lean Systems implementation
  • Champions innovation to assure value leadership
  • Manages departmental budgets and cost controls
  • Leads problem solving efforts
  • Promotes a positive culture through employee engagement and open communication.
  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned; i.e. special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.
Requirements for the Plant Manager - Assembly Operations:
  • 5 – 7 years minimum manufacturing plant leadership.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant discipline.
  • Lean Manufacturing.
  • Welding exposure helpful
