Great opportunity for an Automotive Quality Engineer.  Great place to use your education &  knowledge of Manufacturing training in quality techniques such as TS 16949, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, & ASQ.  We need a detail-oriented QE that can work directly with the internal customers and corporate leadership.  This company has several locations nation-wide & you will be offered promotional opportunities down the road.  You’ll be the primary customer quality liaison!
The salary for this great opportunity is $60,000 - $75,000 Plus INCREDIBLE BENEFITS!  Detroit Motor City is your next home at this State-of-the-art manufacturing facility!  This is the heart of auto country and home to the Henry Ford & Motown museums, The Guardian Building, art institutes, symphony, opera, & theater.  Detroit is one twelve American cities to have professional football, baseball, basketball, & hockey.  Then there are the college teams!  You can experience all four seasons & spend time on the water with several huge lakes nearby.  Short jaunt to Canada for a little fun!  We can only consider candidates with a Green Card, Permanent Residency, or Citizenship.
To be considered for this opportunity in Motor City, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quality related field and at least 5 years’ of experience in the automotive industry in one of these areas: Quality, Engineering, or Product Design.  A working knowledge of automotive EDS systems and components.  You must be able to travel domestic and internationally.  There may be some on-call and shift work needed to support customer requirements.  Certifications such as ASQ CQE, Six Sigma, Shainin, Kepner-Tregoe, etc., are helpful but not required.  Helpful knowledge for this position would be Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Process Flow, Corrective Action Process,  and  Problem Solving Methodologies (5-Why, 8D, etc.).

At the heart of your responsibilities, you will be supporting the company’s system strategies and objectives for the Quality projects.  You’ll promote the standards of excellence and keep products in alignment with company and departmental objectives and quality targets. 
Your daily responsibilities will be to inspect precise electrical components; manipulate a variety of complex products accurately.  Continually monitor prototype & mass production activities to proactively identify emerging issues & implement the correct solutions.  You’ll rely on your arsenal of quality tools such as APQP Plan, Essential Requirements checklist, FMEA, PPAP, first article inspection plans.  Closely monitor customer quality results and perceptions provide feedback to the responsible organization and assure required improvement activities.  Develop and execute product tests and validations, analyze resulting data, and document corrective actions & results.
